Activities
Three areas
The group will be structured around three complementary areas, chosen for the degree of control that can be exercised in each.
Each area will be carried by a dedicated entity, incorporated when its activity is ready to start. To date, no operating company has been established.
Technology
In developmentSoftware and business tools. The area covers the design and build of applications meant to solve an identified operating problem: automating a repetitive task, making a figure reliable, showing what was not visible before.
The bias is towards the specific tool rather than the universal platform. A tool that does one thing and does it well can be maintained, explained, and outlives its authors.
Online retail
In developmentSale and distribution of goods through online channels. The area covers product selection, sourcing, listing and logistics through to the end customer.
The standard is real margin and satisfaction after purchase, not headline volume. Revenue that leaves nothing once costs are paid is not a business.
Advisory
In developmentFinancial analysis, performance management and management control. The area covers the design of indicators, the analysis of costs and margins, and the reporting that lets a manager decide on the basis of facts.
This work concerns the management and performance of the companies advised. It constitutes neither investment advice nor a financial service within the meaning of the applicable regulation.
What connects them
The three areas share the same discipline: understand the figures before acting, prefer a position that can be held to one that grows fast, and start a business only once it can fund itself.
